Not really a TWD

I have no good excuse.  I just got busy, overwhelmed, and a little intimidated.  I really was going to make the brioche dough.  I have a heavy duty stand mixer.  I have the three sticks of butter the recipe calls for.  I have freezer space for the dough.  I just did not get my act together.  Next week, I promise!

Di of Di's Kitchen Notebook has chosen French Chocolate Brownies.  Mmmmm.  I read the recipe earlier.  This one I can do.

Oh, God. It happens. But when you get a chance, try this one. The brioche dough is really delicious, and people freak out over these sticky buns. If you can make the buns, you've got the power. ;)

I agree with Rebecca. I hope you'll give the brioche dough a chance in the future. Take it slow, mis en place and you'll be surprised at what you thought you couldn't do!

I was completely intimidated when I made the brioche snails, but it really wasn't bad at all. Give them a try sometime when there's no pressure :) (They make a really impressive recipe to pull out for overnight guests.)
